Great staff, atmosphere and food! We showed up with the wrong number for our booking. Our fault. The staff was very helpful and understanding. She also gave good recommendation for selection, of which everything were great. Price is in our acceptable range: ~100kr for starters and ~200 for bigger dishes. They also fixed the number of wontons to match our number as well! Definitely one of the best french food in town that me and my friends can see ourselves frequent!

A cosy French Bistro in Gothenburg with food, service and atmosphere that was on point. Such a cool cosy vibe. We sat upstairs overlooking the the table downstairs, and right beside the kitchen were we could watch the chefs do their magic. The food was so delicious, we have had trouble deciding what starter to order, so we ordered three, with each one better than the last. Do yourself favour when visiting Gothenburg, go to Palavas and have a meal. It will be one of the highlights of your trip to Gothenburg with delicious food, an awesome selection of fabulous wines and food & service that was indeed first class. We will definitely be back to Palavas when we are next in Sweden.

What a find! So gutted we only popped in for dessert! But my oh my was the wine and food incredible. Such a hospitable place, the basque cheesecake was so good, I’d love to bathe in it!

The steak tartare and steak frites was out of this world. If possible try the chefs table and enjoy your life and ask Danes for his wine recommendations!

Popped in last night around 21:00 Just fancied some fries & a basque cheesecake before going home. You could clearly see they were very busy & abit stressed & we had no issue waiting, we was taken care of by the loveliest man. (Sorry didn’t catch your name, bearded with glasses) insisted our cheesecake was complimentary because we waited abit. We had very little but the fries were fantastic and so was the cheesecake. Definitely will be back for a full meal experience & a big thank you to Beardy McGlasses. <3

Probably one of the best dinners I’ve had. The whipped goats cheese and croquette were amazing and probably the stars of the show. The mains were also great. Finally I’d recommend the Basque cheesecake with butterscotch - the chef recommended we pair it with a strawberry dessert wine, which was a 10/10 combo. All of the staff were super friendly and genuinely helpful. Ambience was exactly what you’d want - if you’re dining as a 2, definitely get one of the tables by the kitchen which overlooks the restaurant. To top it off, very reasonably priced. ⭐

The service was excellent, the ambiance delightful, and the food and wine pairings— recommended by the staff— were great. We started with croquettes and grilled sourdough bread, followed by mains of sole meunière and the evening’s plat du jour, a tender and flavorful ox cheek. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the staff ensured we felt warmly welcomed and well cared for throughout the evening. Will be back to try some other dishes from the menu

Cozy and stylish place! Wine selection is impressive so you can find something you like. As I understood, it’s always changing so each time you can try something new. The food is really good, we ordered risotto and duck. Can’t find words to explain how good the duck was, just no word but lots of emotions. Recommend to try
